Week three of our holiday was spent touring Mpumalanga. We visited most of the sites and the Kruger National Park.

Week two of our holiday was spent at a place called Mount Amanzi which is downstream from the Hartebeespoort Dam wall. On the Tuesday we visited the De Wildt Cheetah Centre which was absolutely fantastic.

We spent the first week of the holiday along the Garden Route between George and Plettenberg Bay, with a day out to Oudtshoorn.

On 5 September 2006 I proposed to Claire and she accepted. These are the pictures of the engagement ring - it's 18 carat white gold with a 0.25 carat Princess cut diamond (Clarity: SI1, Colour: G)

Claire and I decided to head back to the New Forest for a short getaway. After our last visit, we thought we'd take our bicycles, and it was definately worth it.
