- 26 Aug → Oh my word, the South Africans have just been given a complete pasting by England in the 2nd One Day International at Trent Bridge. SA were all out for 83 in 23 overs and England replied with 85 for 0 in 14.1 overs. I don’t think I want to watch the highlights tonight; it’ll just be embarrassing. ( 0 )

- 20 Sep → Once again, South Africa have choked when it matters most. South Africa are out of the Twenty-20 cricket world cup. What makes this more disappointing is that South Africa didn’t even have to win. They needed 154 to win, but only 126 to go through on run rate, and they couldn’t manage it. Oh well, we’ve still got the rugby to win. ( 0 )

- 17 Apr → I’ve just checked the cricket score for today’s game between SA and England, and quite fittingly, KP has just been caught by Graeme Smith for 3. He won’t be too please about that (the score or who caught him). Prior to his dismissal, there were 13 South African’s (by birth) on the field and 0 Englishmen - KP & Strauss at the crease, the 11 SA fielders and neither of the umps are English either.
