Punxsutawney Phil Says 6 More Weeks of Winter

Today is Groundhog Day, and Punxsutawney Phil popped out, saw his shadow and declared we’d have 6 more weeks of winter. Well, at least those in the US will. I think those of us in the south of England may see summer come a bit sooner as the daffs are already starting to flower and we’ve had two lovely sunny days whilst our northern friends battled with ran, snow and gale force winds.

Where have you been Colin, we had daffs which were in flower during the first we back to work after the new year. Yes that was the 7 th of Jan, next year I’m waiting for the daffs to be in flower before xmas!!!!. Have you checked out the Ring Neck Parakeets that I see every day in sunny Egham. If it gets much warmer we’ll have Giraffes and Wildebeest in the garden by the time the Olympics hits London

Wow! The best wild life I get to see at work (or on the way to) are bunnies, squirrels and flat foxes ;-) I think it might be a bit chillier those couple of extra miles down the M3 where my office is ;-)
