Interesting Links for 4 April 2007 - 19 April 2007

Interesting links for 4 April 2007 - 19 April 2007:

  • Russia Plans World’s Longest Tunnel - I mentioned tunnels once, and now everyone is building or thinking of building tunnels.
  • Businessman takes NatWest for £35k - …and he did it all legally. All he did was threaten to sue NatWest for the excessive bank charges. This is becoming quite an embarrassing situation for our banks making BILLIONS of £’s profit a year.
  • Panasonic TH-103PF9 103in Plasma TV - Blloody hell that’s a big TV - 2.61 metres diagnally across.
  • US Deploys Cloaked Airliner - I love these little “anomalies” within Google Earth/Maps. Here we have a disappearing plane.
  • Welcome to Ikeatown - IKEA’s flatpack housing is coming to the UK. They’re expected to retail for £100 000 each, but give it time, and the insane UK housing market and these will be worth half a mil’ before you know it.

    Ref. the IKEA housing.
The packs wil probably stay the same price, or even reduce if they get the demand.

Problem is trying to get a plot of land on which to dump said house!
