Hot air balloon wafting over the Napa Valley.

I think I’m finally starting to think more like a photographer. I noticed the stripe effect of the design on this building whilst walking along Market Street in San Francisco so took a pic, and it turned out really well.

I’ve been working through the mountains of photos I took in the 10 days Mum and Sam were over and stumbled upon this one I took at the Eden Project. I literally just cropped it and increased the blacks and this is the result: an accidental “Photo of the Week”.

I took several photos last weekend but I can’t make up my mind which I prefer for my “Photo of the Week” feature (even though it’s more of a photo of the month), so I’ve opted for four this week.

We pass this little guy everytime we go to the pub, and everytime it puts a little smile on my face. Now is this art or just pure vandalism?

I’m starting to get a bit creative with Lightroom’s RAW processing capabilities. Accentuating the blacks really brings out the colour and gives a great contrasting black background, without losing the bright morning sunshine, in which I took this picture.
