It’s now 16:42 UK time and we’re home and will be staying put for the rest of the evening and probably most of tomorrow. We’ve done the week’s grocery shopping and the washing is on, now just to try keep out eyes open to tempt our bodies into thinking it’s not 08:42 California time. [...]

Well, I think we’ve had enough crunchy side for one holiday. It’s time to head to the sea side. You can’t travel half way round the world and not go to the sea side, so that’s where we’re going today. We’re heading for Monterey.

Now for some Yosemite action. We’re moving onto the small town of Midpines just the other side of Yosemite National Park. This will be our base to adventure and discover the more westerly and southern parts of Yosemite National Park.
