Flying Car Going To Timbuktu
A British inventor has finally proven that the dream of a flying car really isn’t as elusive as some would like to think, and you don’t need millions and millions of cash to do it either.
Well, the power of the South Africans on the internet has been proven. We’re taking your women, jobs and now board games too.
The big push by various South African bloggers, me included, to get the most beautiful city in the world - Cape Town - onto the World Edition of Monopoly has paid off. [...]
Text Messages are a Rip Off
Do you quite happily fire off text messages to your mates because they’re quick, easy and more importantly cheap? Well maybe it’s time to think again about the cheap part.
There was a program on TV a couple of weeks ago about the costs of sending text messages (SMS) and the scientist on the program [...]
Jo’burg Needs Your Vote Now
Voting is over for the main contenders in the “Monopoly Here & Now Edition” online “vote-athon” and thanks to some great publicity by fellow South African bloggers (here, here, here, here, here and me) and Facebook users, I think Cape Town is sure to be on the new board.

At the moment it’s looking like a “Who’s Who” [...]
MacBook Air
Oooo, I like. I think I best start saving.
Update: Ok, I don’t think I want one anymore now that I’ve read into it a bit more. It looks lovely, but it has a lot of limitations.
3D Head Tracking System
This is very cool, and quite cheap and simple to do. It’s quite amazing the games manufacturers haven’t thought of this yet, but now this video is out, I’d expect to see some pretty awesome Wii games coming soon.
Retro is Now Revolutionary
There was absolutely nothing on TV last night, so I started flipping through the channels. Whilst doing so, I stumbled upon a home shopping channel selling these things - Window Wizards:
From the way they describe these things, you’d think they’ve only just been invented and are the next best thing since sliced bread (aren’t [...]
TopGear Made Me Cry
As is common in a lot of households in the UK, Sunday evenings at 8pm is TopGear time. For those who don’t know, TopGear is the best car program I’ve ever seen and it’s broadcast on BBC 2 every Sunday at 8pm. This week’s episode has got to go into the history books as [...]
