Sizing Vibram Five Fingers

From my own experience, searching the web, the comments I’ve received in my previous two posts(Vibram Five Fingers and Vibram Five Fingers: 1 Month Later) and in conversation, sizing the Vibram Five Fingers is quite a concern and challenge. This is understandable as they’re not shoes in the sense we know it and they need [...]

Vibram Five Fingers: 1 Month Later

Well, it’s nearly a month now since I got my Vibram Five Fingers and I’m happy to say I’m still very impressed with them. More importantly, I’m also still injury free and starting to really notice my feet adapting.
To get a true reflection of the effects of running in the Vibrams, I’ve run exclusively [...]

Vibram Five Fingers

I’ve just got back from my first proper run in my new foot protectors - my Vibram Five Fingers Classics. I say foot protectors as “shoes” just seems like the wrong word to use considering they’re effectively just a bit of strong rubber stuck to the bottom of my feet.

Barefoot Shoes

In a moment of renewed enthusiasm for running, after purchasing my new shoes on Monday, I popped into WH Smiths and picked up a copy of Runner’s World.
In it I read a short article about how a guy had pretty much solved all his running injuries by throwing his shoes away and resorting to running [...]

My New Shoes

Like Paulo Natini, I’ve got myself a pair of new shoes. They’re not just any shoes, they’re my new running shoes - the Adidas Supernova Control 10s.

Don’t worry, I won’t be singing about my new shoes. I’ll just tell you about today’s first run and my shopping experience

  • → Wow, this holiday stuff is really good for me. I feel rested, refreshed, revitalised and motivated again. Best of all, I managed to lose 5 kgs (11 lbs) whilst on holiday - I suspect most of it is probably water, but anyway… Wooohooo!!! It’s the first time I’ve been under 90 kgs in ages. ( 0 )
